And so dear readers, you next find your intrepid explorer finished with the school year and, in a surprising break of habit, not actually going anywhere ^_^ (Well I didn't pop down to CA to visit relatives, but that's an aside). This summer, I stayed in Seattle and nabbed at job at the Seattle Aquarium as a counselor for their summer camps. It turned out to be a mixed bag of herding cats (metaphorically, of course), getting paid to go kayaking and to the zoo, attempting to avoid germs (with varying levels of success), and exchanging snarky comments with teenagers. Ultimately a pretty good gig.
