One pro (con?) to living in a small town is the ease at which you can pop up in the local news. A couple weeks ago a guy (who, it is now clear, works for the Homer Tribune) came to take pictures of me and the group of people with whom I play ultimate frisbee. Apparently our (short) story was important enough to be on the 2nd page of the paper, but not important enough for them to have bothered asking exactly what the game is called...In case you guys can't read the words in my picture (sorry I don't have a scanner), the little blurb says:
A little frisbee football -
A group of frisbee fans gather for a little impromptu football fun on the Homer Middle School soccer fileds on Monday...
(and then it continues on to talk about the weather! Haha, what kind of an article IS this??)

hahaha glad we made your blog :). Man my roomate has been farting on my bed all night. and tomorrow is sunday the most competive day to get the washer and dryers...
