I biked out to the Spit today for the Kachemak Bay SeaFest/Wooden Boat Festival. Wasn't all that interesting, to be honest, but I did meet a man with an absolutely beautiful wooden kayak. Apparently it took him 10 months, it's never been on the water, it has sat in his shed for 5 years. What a shame.
